With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ana María Martínez, age 56, who returned to her eternal home on February 15, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Ana was born on March 6, 1968, in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, to the late Arcadio González Saucedo and Mariana Espinoza Saucedo.
Ana was united in marriage to the love of her life, Honorio Martínez, in 2008, and together, they shared a life full of love, faith, and joy. Ana was known for her deep love for Jesus Christ, and she dedicated her life to spreading His message of hope and salvation. Through her Christian radio segment, "Impacto Musical," she touched the hearts of many, sharing music and words of faith with all who tuned in.
Ana had a servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel loved and cherished. Though she did not have children of her own, Ana embraced her role as a beloved aunt and was a second mother to many nieces and nephews, whom she raised and loved as if they were her own. She was a Godmother to Genaro Jorge. Her greatest joy was caring for Hayden, whom she adored as the grandson she never had.
Ana is survived by her loving family: husband Honorio; five brothers, Juan, Arcadio Jr. (Amelia), José, Oscar (Kristina), Ramón (Angela); and four sisters, Juanita, Rosario (Jesús), Martha, and Elena, all of Abilene, TX. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have shown their love and support during this time, as well as the compassionate hospital staff who cared for Ana in her final days.
Ana's legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Ana, your love will never be forgotten...
