Anabel Cotilla Obituary
Anabel was born in Havana, Cuba, to the late Fernando and Dulce Perez Conesa.
She enjoyed painting, dancing, shopping, music and Elvis Pressley. Anabel loved butterflies, hummingbirds, cardinals and especially her dog, Khaleesi. Her favorite pastime was beginning her day with coffee and daily Bible reading.
Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
Anabel was a member of Potential Church in Cooper City, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge Cotilla; two sons, Gabriel Gonzales of Miami, Fla., and Kevin Cotilla (Shanine) of Robbinsville, N.C.; six daughters, Chanel Culver (Kevin) of Janesville, Wis., Mary Ledesma (Jay) of Orlando, Fla., Jennifer Cotilla of Plantation, Fla., Kristen Tague (Thomas) of Sunrise, Fla., Melissa Cotilla of Sunrise, Fla., and Megan Cotilla of Sunrise, Fla.; one sister, Belkys Cushaney of Hollywood, Fla.; one niece, Angie Cushaney; one nephew, Davis Cushaney; and brother-in-law, Michael Cotilla (Dee) of Salisbury, N.C.; and 14 grandchildren.
The family received friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Maltby Baptist Church in Marble with a Celebration of Life service following at 8 p.m. The Rev. Kenny White officiated.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

I am in shock, heartbroken, speechless, devastated to hear about my dear sister in Christ passing away - I was blessed to have had her positive, God loving outlook on life help me through so many troubling times. I will see this very special person again some day and we will be dancing on streets of gold to some Elvis music -

Our mountain adventures, our Grumpy's and hanging our just because, these are the moments that will so be missed with you. I think about you every day since you took wings to heaven and will never understand the "why". I am dreading our next trip up because it will never be the same without you, but I will always carry our memories in my heart and hope you are resting in peace with Star and your parents. Thank you for all the memories sweet Annie!

I only met Anabel on two occasions and never forgot her kindness, i regret never having the opportunity to know her better. I am so saddened for her family and and work friends, my condolences to both, may she rest in peace and know how much she will be missed.
