Andra Willyard

Andra Lou Willyard passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan Andra spent many years in Bonita Springs, Florida where she helped to raise two of her grandchildren, Justin and Nichole, before returning to Grand Rapids to be closer to her family there.
Andra spent most of her life in the service industry and when she wasn't working she enjoyed being in the service of others, helping family and friends whenever possible. She loved DIY projects and getting her hands dirty in a garden. Andra was always ready to tackle something new.
Andra's sense of humor was one of her most beloved traits. She had a playful way of teasing those she loved, a sign of her affection, and those close to her learned quickly she could take it as well as dish it out. Her laughter was infectious, her wit quick, and her ability to find joy in every interaction was truly a gift to all who knew her. She loved spending time with others, simply talking and sharing about their lives.
Beloved Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and friend she was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Mary Lou Sikkema and brother Fred. She will be very missed by many friends and family including her daughter Cheryl; son Rob with his wife Tammy; her grandchildren Justin, Nichole and Emma with her husband Brett; her brothers Kurt and Scott, with his wife Lisa, and their families.
A memorial service is being planned for later this summer.
