Andre Alexander Cobham

Andre Alexander Cobham was born on April 3rd 1996, right here in Springfield, Massachusetts, at Baystate Medical Center. From a young age, it was clear that Andre was someone special. He grew up in this community and attended DeBerry, Milton Bradley and Forrest Park schools before graduating from Springfield Central High School.
Andre was the kind of person who could light up any room he walked into. His smile was big, infectious, and genuine. It was the kind of smile that made you feel seen, welcomed, and at ease. He had a laugh that echoed joy, and a spirit that lifted others even on their darkest days. He was always positive, always encouraging, and always full of life. He loved basketball, traveling, and music but most of all he loved to dance. Whether at family gathering or just having fun with friends, his dancing was a celebration of life itself. He was adventurous always seeking out new places and experiences. Andre loved his family fiercely and although he was the youngest he was the glue that held his siblings and cousins together.
Andre dedicated his life to caring for others, and worked as a CNA for several years bringing the same kindness and compassion to his patients. For the past year, he returned to place he was born, Baystate Medical Center where he worked as a Patient Mobility Technician making an impact on the lives of all he came in contact with.
Andre was a devoted father and leaves behind his 5 beautiful daughters: Za'niyah, Leah, Alani, Amiah, and Nyla. who will grow up knowing they were loved and cherished by him. He also leaves behind his dear mother Hyacinth, siblings, many relatives, friends and community who loved him unconditionally and will never forget his warmth, laughter, incredible heart. and how he made them feel.
Although Andre's time with us was far too short, we will rejoice that God has called him home into his eternal rest. Andre (Dre) thank you for everything you gave to us, we will cherish the memories forever. Rest easy beautiful soul until we meet again.
