Andre B.A. Duhaime, 87, of Carmel, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Magnolia Springs Senior Living at Bridgewater in Carmel. He was born on April 21, 1938 to Ovila and Cecile (Boucher) Duhaime in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Andre proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later attended Middle Tennessee State University. He enjoyed a long and successful career in sports marketing at GTE, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring.
A devoted man of faith, Andre was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. He lived an active life and had a lifelong love of sports and the outdoors. In college, he played tennis and later found joy in playing pickleball. He also enjoyed hiking, running, walking, and spending time fishing. A loyal Notre Dame fan, Andre followed his team with enthusiasm.
Known affectionately by the nicknames “Servant of God” and “Gordy Good Guy,” Andre was admired for his character, kindness, and generous spirit. Above all, he loved being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He deeply cherished time spent with his family and the many wonderful memories they created together.
He is survived by his son, Bruce (Kelly) Duhaime; daughter, Michelle (Dan) Hanlin; grandchildren, Vanessa Reddington, Kelsey Vaught, Rachel (Tim) Boush, Mariah (Tyler) Van Meter, and Sam Hanlin; great-grandchildren, Lilly Reddington, Cash Reddington, Meadow Myers, Harrison Van Meter, and Luke Van Meter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Gail P. Duhaime; great-grandchild, Noah Boush; and brothers, Guy Duhaime, Lionel Duhaime, Victor Duhaime, Jules Duhaime, and Father John Duhaime.
Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 9, 2026 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road in Westfield. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester, New Hampshire.
