Eulayla Barnette, 89, of Upland, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at her home. She was born on June 11, 1936 to Pearl and Dorothy (Ely) Parsons in Pennington Gap, Virginia.
Eulayla worked for Best Lock for many years before retiring. She was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church and loved going to church. Eulayla enjoyed going to flea markets, cooking, and feeding everyone. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Velma (Richard) Harber; son, Bob (Heather) Barnette; grandchildren, Jamie (Mike) Killmon, Josh (Ashley) Barnette, Brandon (Jen) Barnette, Austin Barnette, and Christopher Gordon; great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Adeline, Blake, Ethan, Kiersten, and Kendall Jo Barnette, Landon and Ashlynn Killmon; siblings, Delmer (Marie) Parsons, Mary Ward, Jerry (Glenda) Parsons, Verlin (Shirley) Parsons, Pearl (Debbie) Parsons, Sarah (Chad) Fultz; and sister-in-law, Sue Parsons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Barnette; grandson, Ricky Harber; brother, Will Parsons; sister, Arbadella Risden; and brothers-in-law, Randall Ward and Bruce Risden.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville with Pastor Michael Risden officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
