Andrea Ruth Bertsch

Andrea Ruth Bertsch, 60, of La Porte, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Andrea was born on April 20, 1965, in Van Wert, OH, to William "Bill" and Roberta (Wulliman) Bertsch.

Surviving Andrea are her 2 sisters, Kristina Bertsch of La Porte and Cynthia "Cindy" Sanders of Valparaiso; and 2 nephews, Austin Sanders of Portage and Corey (Morgan) Sanders of Valparaiso.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Roberta Bertsch.

Andrea was a machine operator for 24 years at Awards America in Valparaiso. She was a member of Salem Church in Wanatah and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Valparaiso. Andrea enjoyed sharing her talents by performing in various plays at The La Porte Little Theater.

She proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard from July 1998 to July 2006. Andrea held the rank of Specialist.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
