Andrea Lee Brenner, 66, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. She was born on October 16, 1958, in Watonga, Oklahoma to Minnie Foster Wilner and Franklin Delano Mashaney.

After her childhood in Oklahoma City, Andee spent many years with her family in Enid before making Oklahoma City and Edmond her lifelong home. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1976 and excelled at every job she held. Known for her strong work ethic and her love of working with people, she left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.

A woman of many talents, Andee was a published writer who shared her gift through poetry and stories. She also enjoyed the art of calligraphy, playing Canasta with her family, and she was an accomplished, award-winning bowler. She also had a love and deep appreciation for music, sang and played the violin. Her two beloved schnauzers, Piper and Georgie, brought her great joy.

Above all, Andee's greatest love was her family. She is survived by her son, Matt Ray; her daughter, Jodi Koptiw (husband Michael); her treasured grandchildren, Sam and Bane Ray, and Alex and Everett Koptiw. She is also survived by her sisters, Paula Mashaney and Lisa Key (husband Donny), and her niece, Jennifer Gregg (husband Brent); and her nephews, Ryan Key (wife Jamie), Logan Key (wife Kelsey), Hunter Fair, and John Mashaney. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank Mashaney.

She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Doug Brenner, with whom she shared a close and enduring friendship until his passing in December 2024.

Andee will be remembered not only as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, but also as a steadfast friend. She built and maintained deep, lifelong friendships, some lasting from her teenage years onward-and she had a rare gift for making each person in her life feel valued and loved.

Andee will be remembered as someone who was everyone's friend-a kind, fun, and generous soul who never passed judgment, always listened with an open heart, and made everyone feel at ease. She adored her grandchildren, delighted in being a little silly, and found joy in bringing laughter and comfort to those around her.

A private memorial service will be held for family and friends.
