May 24, 1945 ~ January 21, 2026

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of a beloved woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a caring sister and daughter, and a proud grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family.

Andrea was a woman full of laughter and light, known for her warm smile, kind heart, and joyful spirit. Music and dancing were part of her soul-she could turn any moment into a celebration and any gathering into a memory. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence made people feel at home.

Her faith in God was a guiding force in her life. Andrea trusted in Him through every season, leaned on prayer in times of hardship, and gave thanks in times of joy. Her faith shaped the way she loved others-with patience, compassion, and grace.

Above all, Andrea loved her family deeply. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she poured endless love, wisdom, and affection into them. She found happiness in the simple things: family gatherings, shared meals, music playing in the background, and the sound of her grandchildren's laughter.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband Francisco Leija Castillo, her 5 children Gloria Castillo Overton, Frank Castillo Jr, Jose Guadalupe Castillo, Dora Castillo Zertuche and Angel Daniel Benito Castillo, her 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, her 3 sisters Margarita Muñoz, Mary Muñoz, and Beatrice Delgado and many family and friends.

Andrea is preceded in death by her daughter Diana Castillo Perez, her parents Simon Muñoz and Benita Flores, and her 2 brothers Lupe Muñoz and Frankie Muñoz.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, joy, and togetherness. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort knowing she is now resting in God's loving embrace. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and in the many memories she created.

She will forever be remembered for the love she gave, the faith she lived by, and the beautiful way she lived her life.
