Andrea Cervoni, 97, of Northford, formerly of West Haven, beloved husband of 73 years to the late Mafalda Cervoni, passed away on July 5, 2024, at Apple Rehabilitation Laurel Woods. Beloved father of Egidio (Darlene Smith) Cervoni of Northford and the late Enrico Cervoni. Brother of Enrico (Maria) Cervoni and Gino (Maria) Cervoni all of Northford and Paulina and Giulio Cervoni, both of Italy, and the late Lucia, Maria and Guiseppina Cervoni. Grandfather of Dominic, Gianni, Michael (Katherine), and Nikki (Danny Dinallo) Cervoni. Great-grandfather of Sophia Ortiz, Enzo Dinallo and Colton and Murphy Cervoni. Andrea was born in Boville Ernica, Province of Frosinone, Italy, on February 26, 1927, son of the late Vincenzo and Domenica Palleschi Cervoni. Prior to his retirement, Andrea was a bench worker for the former Richmark International. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved gardening.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, WEDNESDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ambrose Parish in St. Augustine Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call WEDNESDAY morning from 8:30 to 10:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org .
