Joyce Y. Cervoni

Joyce Yvonne Cervoni, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday December 26, 2025 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post where she was lovingly cared for.
Joyce was born in Corning, New York on March 1, 1931 to the late Pauline (Barton) and Harley Reynolds Sr. She married the love of her life, Richard Cervoni, and over their 70 years together they built many beautiful homes and a lovely family that she adored. Her family was the light of her life and when she wasn't working with her husband, raising her sons, or spoiling her grandchildren she enjoyed dancing, gardening, and cooking. In her later years she loved watching the food channel and time spent with her favorite girls and Alex drinking milkshakes, eating meals together, and enjoying activities at the Absolut Care of Three Rivers. Joyce always met you with a smile or a giggle and sometimes a song. Her joy was infectious and she was a friend to everyone she met. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by the family she loved so deeply; two sons: Ronald (Gloria) Cervoni and Vaughn Cervoni, both of Corning; grandchildren: Tammie (Orie) Copp of Lindley, Niki (Alex) Mann and Katie Cervoni of Corning, Brieanna (Bryan) TenEyck and Brooke (Micah) Buck of Horseheads; great-grandchildren: Kayla (Josh) Wade, Steven (Shanelle) Copp, Emelia TenEyck, Genivieve and Nora Buck; great-great-grandchildren: Elana, Avery and Owen Copp and Oliver, Ryan, and Evelyn Wade. She also loved her many nieces and nephews.
Joyce is predeased by her husband Richard Cervoni, sister Ella Teed, brothers Harley (Bill), Donald (Donnie), Meredith (Mert), and Henry (Hank) Reynolds, as well as step siblings John and Charles Bower, Pauline Harvey and several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be arranged at the convenience of the family by Phillips Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Joyce will be laid to rest peacefully beside her husband at the Montour Cemetery.
The best way to honor Joyce is to live like she did, showing kindness, love, and compassion to others - and to always enjoy a sweet treat!
