On June 13, 2025, our beloved Andrea T. Hatch, born on February 20, 1953, in St. George, UT, concluded her earthly journey. Known for her compassionate and loving nature, Andrea was a beacon of warmth and generosity. Her empathetic spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible impact that will be felt forever.
Andrea was the embodiment of service and dedication. She worked as a special education teacher in elementary education, and higher education at Job Corps, where she nurtured young minds with care and patience. Her hobbies were expressions of her generous spirit - from sewing, scouting, and canning to quilting and walking, each was a testament to her love for others. Notably, she found profound peace and purpose in tracing her ancestors' stories and performing essential temple work on their behalf. She was a Daughter of Utah Pioneers, a reading tutor at Weber County Library, a Humanitarian Aid Volunteer, and a Coordinator for Sub for Santa. Her selfless contributions didn't stop there - she also donated blankets to McKay Dee Hospital and Women's Shelters locally and across the globe manifesting her innate desire to comfort and aid those in need.
As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Andrea served diligently in various capacities, including Relief Society President, Primary President, Primary Teacher, Cub Master, and Merit Badge Leader. She also served as a missionary in the Minnesota-Wisconsin mission. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, inspiring acts of kindness and love that resonated with those around her. In the words of the scripture, "Charity never faileth" (1 Corinthians 13:8), Andrea's love for her family, friends, and community indeed never failed.
Andrea married Dennis Allan Hatch in the Salt Lake Temple on September 22, 1977. In their 48 years together, they built a beautiful family. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Especially Dennis and their children: Allen Hatch, Anne Hatch, Austin Hatch, and Amber Ambriz. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 siblings.
Andrea is preceded in death by her father, Ezra Terry, and her mother, Mary Jeanne Olds, her sister Jeannie Terry, and her Grandparents.
