A celebration of Andrea's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Romnie Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Elderville Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Following the burial in Elderville, the family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall at Centre Presbyterian Church.
Andrea Dee Hellen was born on April 13, 1972, in Tyler. She attended Robert E. Lee High School and Kilgore College. Andrea worked at The Dance Gallery and the DPS crime lab.
Andrea is survived by her mother, Dianne Hellen, her son Justin Lane Pope, her daughter Madelyn Dee Pope, her sister Deena Dianne Hellen, and her close family friend Ric Freeman. She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Wayne Hellen.
