Andrea Johnson, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. Born on September 14, 1980, to Reverend Philip Warner West and Cheryl Lunsford West, Andrea lived a life marked by deep devotion to her Savior, her family, and her community. Andrea cherished her role as a wife and mother, always offering unwavering love and support to her family.
A dedicated nurse for 25 years, Andrea served with compassion and excellence, touching countless lives through her profession. Her heart for others extended far beyond the workplace as she was also an active member at her church, First Baptist Church of Centerville. Her passion for missions led her on numerous trips where she poured into others with grace.
Andrea found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time at the beach. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, her kindness, and the light she brought into every room.
She was the beloved wife of Timothy “TJ” Johnson, proud mother of two daughters, Emma and Ava Johnson who she loved dearly, and cherished daughter to Reverend Philip and Cheryl West. Her memory will also be treasured by her family; siblings, Stephen West (Crissie) and Stephanie O’Neal (Jimmy); nieces and nephews, Collin O’Neal and Caden O’Neal, Annaliese West, Addison West and Nicholas West, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Debbie Abney.
Visitation with Andrea’s family will be Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Centerville with funeral service immediately following. After the service, Andrea will be laid to rest at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery.
