Andrea Krzysko

Andrea "Andi" M. Krzysko, age 72, passed away November 21, 2025, in Chicago. Beloved wife of Michael Hasson. Loving mother of David (Marine D'Alderete), Eric and Matthew Depew. Fond grandmother of Adrian, Quinn, Zorro, Benicio, and Ferdinand. Sister of Audrey Davis (Arthur Murphy) and Gregory (Barbara) Krzysko. Dear daughter of the late Frank and Alice Krzysko. Aunt of 4. Andrea was patient but strong-willed, a big presence with a big laugh, blonde hair and blue eyes. She attended Loyola (incl. Loyola Rome) for her bachelors, and then Rush University for a Master of Science. Andrea was dedicated to her work and loved taking care of others, from her years as a nurse in the children's wing at Carle Hospital Urbana, to teaching nursing and clinical at UIUC, then UIC, and finally ushering in the next generation of nurses by developing tests and giving panels for Pearson Vue. She enjoyed family, food, wine, vacations, talking, dogs, photography, and gardening. Memorial Visitation Monday, December 8th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Donnellan Funeral Home, 10525 S. Western Ave., Chicago.
