My sympathy to the surviving brothers of Andrea. I used to babysit for the Sipla children shortly after they moved to Sipla's Corner. I lived two doors down from the Sipla residence on North Road, and spent a large part of my childhood in the horse barn, and riding whatever horse Andy allowed. I loved seeing Andy in the Blossom Parade each year on his ENORMOUS Palomino. Donnie was so sweet to the neighborhood kids. In the manner of kids, I would offer to help her with chores my own mother had to threaten me with dire consequences to get me to do, lol. I remember ironing pillowcases - something my mom taught me well. (Back then pillowcases were usually 100% cotton and NEEDED ironing to be soft.)
My family moved away from the old neighborhood when I was 14, and I lost touch with the Sipla family, never seeing the young children grow up. Given their parents, I am certain they grew up to be good citizens and caring family members.
