Andy was born on January 31, 1942 in Casteldaccia (Palermo) Sicily to his beloved parents Antonino and Antonina (DiSalvo) Speciale. He met his wife Maria (Mascellino) in the streets of New York City while working in the window of a donut shop. He married her September 1, 1963. They had their first son Anthony (Tony) in 1965 and made their way to Pittsburgh the following year where he had gotten a job working for the Vimco Macaroni Company in which he then retired from.
He was an avid bowler and loved to watch the horses run around the meadows race track. Later in life he turned to golfing and walking the Panhandle Trail.
He is survived by his wife Maria his sons Anthony (Jeannie), Andrew (Idella), James and his grand daughters Kayla and Skyler.
Family and friends will be received at the Bagnato Funeral Home in Carnegie on Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. The service will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:00am followed by a procession to the Holy Souls Catholic Cemetery in Robinson Twp.
