Andrea L. Williams

UTICA – Andrea L. Williams, 51, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her own home, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
Born in Utica on July 8, 1970. Drea, as her family and friends called her, was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen (Medina) Williams and survived by her mother Jeannette (Bennett) and Charles Gottshall. Raised and educated locally, she attended Thomas R. Proctor High School.
Drea was a customer service representative for AAA in Utica.
Drea is survived by a daughter, Jallyssa B. Oxendine, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by a sister, Ericka R. Williams; her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregory and Becky Williams and Godfrey and Ruth Quiachon III; Her uncle Stephan Bennett Sr. and cousins Precious Joshua, Lahiqueeniha Griffin, Shaqueeniha Griffin, Stef'vontia Bennett, and Stephan Bennett Jr.; and her loving Uncle Joe Allen.
Drea also leaves several nieces and nephews, Kya; Anthony; Kyasia, Godfrey IV, Jacquelyn, Micaiah, Keith; Andrew, Carmen, Richard, Aliyah, and Cristopher. Her special extended family included Elisa Fail, Kathy Fail, Hasaan Washington; Bridget Ladue; The Robinson family; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Christopher Williams who passed away in 1969. Also, grandmother, Theta Rosalie Bennett-Mathis (2014), a dearly cherished grandmother, Rosetta Williams (1997), her uncles, T. Morris, Jerry Bo Williams, and Robert Williams; and her aunt, Kathleen 'Kathy' Bennett (2022).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.
