Andres Moises Bolagh

Andrew "Andy" Bolagh, age 83, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Andrew was born in Placitas, NM on December 27, 1938, son of Gable and Josephine (Candelaria) Bolagh. Andrew was known in life as a passionate worker who loved to keep busy and help others. He had a long, successful career in construction, in which he helped build many homes across New Mexico. When Andrew finally retired, he found that he couldn't relax and needed to keep busy. This began a new adventure for him, in which he built furniture, bookcases, kitchen cabinets, beds and just about anything else his friends and family needed. He put much love and passion into his work until the day he finally put his tape and hammer down days before his passing. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Gable and Josephine Bolagh, wife of more than 22 years, Mary Ann Bolagh, brother Frank Bolagh, sister Louisa Romero, sons Kenneth Bolagh, Johnny Bolagh, daughter Janet Bolagh and her daughter, granddaughter Brandy Ann Armijo and grandson Kenneth Bolagh. Andrew is survived by his daughters Jennifer Bolagh Armijo, son-in-law Frank Armijo, Jr., and granddaughter Anndrea Armijo, stepdaughter Jamie Timberman, sons Michael Bolagh, Joseph Bolagh, Gable Bolagh, Matthew Bolagh, Louie Bolagh, Clyde Bolagh, many grandchildren, brother Rudy Bolagh and wife Dolores, their children Consuelo and Sonia, brother Joe David Bolagh and wife Angela, their children Joe, Jr., Julie and Lucille. Andrew requested to be cremated. A celebration of Andrew's life will take place at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge at 19482 NM-314, Belen, NM 87002 on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 2:00-4:30 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend to say goodbye and share memories and personal experiences to celebrate Andrew's extraordinary life and accomplishments.
