Andres Superable Obituary

Visit the Warren Funeral Home, Cemetery & Mausoleum website to view the full obituary.

Andres “Andy” passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, leaving behind a legacy defined by faith, service, and unwavering devotion to his family and his country. A beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He lived a life marked by strength, humility, and purpose.

Born with a calling to lead and protect, Andy graduated from the Philippine Military Academy of Class 1965 and dedicated his life to military service/police rising to the distinguished rank of Three Star General. Prior to his retirement, he became the Deputy Chief for the whole Philippine National Police. His leadership was steady, principled, and compassionate—earning the respect of those who served beside him and the gratitude of a nation he faithfully defended. He carried the weight of responsibility with grace, always mindful that service is an honor.

Yet, of all his titles, the ones he cherished most were those given to him at home. Andy was the steady anchor of his family—wise, patient, and endlessly loving. He delighted in the laughter of his grandchildren and great grandson, and the everyday moments that stitched his family together. His presence brought comfort; his words brought guidance; his love brought unity.

Above all, Andy loved Jesus. His faith shaped every chapter of his life, guiding his decisions, sustaining him through trials, and inspiring those around him. He lived with a quiet but powerful conviction, modeling integrity, generosity, and a servant’s heart. His family rejoices knowing he is now at peace, welcomed into the arms of Jesus.

Andy leaves behind a legacy that will continue through the generations he loved so deeply. His life was a testament to courage, devotion, and faith—and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.

He is survived by Merilyn “Bing”, his beloved wife of 54 years, his children: Leo Rommel Superable married to Sheela, with their daughter Andrea Lynn Superable; Roselyn “Rose”, married to Rusty Nielsen, with their three sons; Russell (Belinda) with their son Ezra; Rhys, and Reed Nielsen; Wendy Superable; and Sandy Superable, married to Tettet, with their two boys, Tristan and Mateo Andres Superable. His legacy continues through each of them, carried forward in love, faith, and cherished memory.
