Andrew Adkins, of Savannah, Georgia passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was just 16 years old.
Andrew was known for his love of all things sports related. His weekends were spent watching and cheering for different games, playing ball with his friends, texting his family sports facts and updates, and helping plan the next family Georgia Bulldogs party. Andrew attended Compassion Christian Church and was recently baptized there. He had a deep love of the Lord and strived to live a Christ-like life. Andrew was known by all for the light and love he brought to every situation. Andrew was a loyal friend and the fun uncle. Andrew was always there for those who needed him and always tried to make others smile. He loved to play around and goof off with his family and friends. Andrew will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Andrew is survived by his parents Larry and Tia Adkins; his sisters, Madison Hurst (Tommy Hurst), Kaitie Reichenberger (Louis Reichenberger), and Natalie Adkins. He also leaves his paternal grandmother, Andria Adkins, whom he called Nana. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Chloe Hurst, Ryder Hurst, Kinsley Reichenberger, and James Reichenberger.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Bethesda Academy. We are asking and encouraging everyone to wear sports attire as we celebrate Andrew's life and legacy!
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to Bethesda Academy, the school Andrew deeply loved, in his honor. Bethesda Academy is located at 9520 Ferguson Avenue, Savannah Georgia 31406. www.bethesdaacademy.org/memorial-gifts-for-andrew-adkins/
