BRADFORD - Andrew Gerard Boyce of Bradford, Vermont, passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 54 years old. Andrew was born on March 24, 1971, in Woodsville, New Hampshire, to George Boyce and Susan Thompson. He grew up in Bradford and graduated from Oxbow High School in 1989. As a child, Andrew often followed his older brothers around, learning from them and sharing in their adventures. He had a lifelong love of sports, card games, and skiing. Throughout his adult life, Andrew worked for several local employers, dedicating himself to construction and fiber optic installation. Though a private and quiet man by nature, Andrew had a distinctive sense of humor and a knack for light-hearted pranks-especially aimed at his wife. On August 21, 2021, Andrew married Lissa Porter of Bradford VT. Together, they raised a blended and loving family. Andrew was a proud and devoted father to their son, Adrian, and a beloved father figure to Dylan, Carley and Lucas Braley, and Tyler and Noel Fraser. Andrew is survived by his wife, Lissa Boyce, and their son, Adrian; his mother, Susan Mann; his brothers, Geoffrey Boyce and Craig (Buffy) Boyce; his nieces, Madeleine and Delia Boyce of Montpelier, and Chloe Boyce of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by many extended family, and close friends who will remember him for his wit, quiet strength, and deep loyalty. A Celebration of Life to honor Andrew will be held at the Masonic Hall in Bradford on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. Please bring a dish to share and a memory of Andrew to celebrate the life of a truly unique and cherished man.
