Earlier today

There are only a few individuals I can think of who had longer careers on Wall Street than Andy. I loved his daily commentaries and often attempted to pass on his knowledge to many of my own clients. An incredible professional. Respected by so many in the business. So much fun to be around. The BEST!
I know that God gives us the strength to carry on after such a loss by drawing on the love and compassion of everyone that worked around him and knew him. Catherine and I are keeping his friends and family in our thoughts and prayers as well.

Minyans at Portland´s Etz Chaim were special whenever Andy was in town. He greeted everyone with a handshake and often asked about your family members , often name by name. He was always interested in the well being of other people and was very enthusiastic when he heard good news. Andy was a precious person and his passing is more than sad news. Kenny Nelson

Andy was a special person and a dear friend. We will always remember the many funny times together-the lunches and dinners in Austin, Columbia, Portsmouth, and Portland. We often look back and laugh about the oddball situations we found ourselves in, like during our business trip to Chicago and during COVID in Austin, but most of all we remember his kindness and generosity when it mattered most.

Andy truly cared about the people around him. He always asked how you were doing and remembered to check in. One of our favorite memories is when he took my sisters and me on a tour of Maine, followed by a wonderful dinner with Linda in Kennebunkport.

He even went out of his way to be at Mahjong Fridays in Portsmouth, often driving hours from New York just to be there.

Dear friend, we love you and will miss you deeply.

I will greatly miss Andy's friendship and humor. Here is the last time we were all together on Locust Walk -- and some photos from the prior reunion.

Andy was the most incredible family historian of all time. He researched and knew everything there was to know about his family history. This past summer we took a boat ride to the island home of relatives. Along with us was a family friend who had no history with the family. In the living room of the home was a mantle and wall with many family photos dating back generations. I was trying to explain to our friend who the people were. Stumbling along, I realized that Andy was present. I called him in. He knew every child and adult in every photo and gave a mini history lesson about each. The Brenner family will miss Andy so very much. Thank you, Andy, for being our family history navigator. You are irreplaceable.

Heidi and I were devasted to hear of Andy's passing. Whenever we visited our farm in Wells, we looked forward to seeing Andy and having a meal with him at The Bull and Claw. Our Jewish community in southern Maine is small and closely connected and this is a profound loss.
I enjoyed seeing Andy on his last trip to Florida when he was still feeling fine.
Andy will be greatly missed.

I was so sorry to hear this, and my condolences to the family. I looked forward every weekday morning to reading Andy's Investment commentary. He had a great way of relaying information, and usually ended with a personal note, which I always appreciated. He made the markets and the investment news easier to understand. He will be greatly missed. Shalom
