Andrew William Bub Jr. Vietnam War Veteran, Devoted Union Member, and Beloved Family Man
Andrew William Bub Jr., a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love.
Known to many as "Andy," he dedicated his life to the values of hard work, integrity, and family. For over 45 years, Andy was a proud and active member of IBEW Local 25, where he served with distinction as Financial Secretary and Assistant Fund Manager. He held a bachelor's degree in labor management and was deeply committed to improving the lives of his fellow workers and union members throughout his career.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Connie Bub; his daughter, Abby Noyes, and her husband David Noyes; and his son-in-law, Mike Bernard, husband of his late daughter Amy Bernard. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Gilbert; and his cherished grandchildren: Grace Cherry, Andrew Noyes, Audrey Bernard, Alex Noyes, and Henry Bernard.
He is predeceased by his beloved daughter, Amy Bernard; his parents, Andrew Sr., and Ann Bub; and his sister, Carol Tomaswick.
Andy will be remembered for his unwavering sense of duty, his love for his family, and the strength and compassion he brought to every role he held in life - as a Marine, a union leader, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a friend.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Andrew, please visit our Tree Store.
