Dear Trish, I am not sure if you received my text but I just wanted to convey how saddened I was to receive your text about Andy's passing. Although our connections were sporadic over a number of years I feel blessed to have had him as a part of my life and I will miss him. We had last communicated this past April and I had reached out to him again for a possible opportunity I had for him with one of my clients. I enjoyed our great conversations, his energy and his smile. I do not know if there is anything I can do for you or the children, but if you ever have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out. Again, my most heartfelt condolences for your loss.

DearJoan, Donna, Trish and children. We did not know Andy and Donna as adults but remember him and Donna as the little children of Don and Joan in Drexel Hill at Holy Comforter . We have never forgotten you and look back in those years with great joy! We have prayed for Andy and Don for the entire ordeal..our hearts are heavy laden at this time to know that they both lost their courageous battles against this horrible virus. We just want you to know we prayed and held you all up to the Lord thru all of this! The Lord had other plans but I am sure He will use it to his glory and has caused many knees to bow before him!.may He now hold each if you in his loving arms for peace, comfort and strength to go on proclaiming his power ..Andy achieved more in his death than most of us can ever achieve in a life time! May your hearts be healed and love shine through!

Andy left this physical world but you will meet again; that is the promise of our Lord. He was greet in the Church Triumphant by his father and our Father, healed and in no pain. Andy will always be near you. You will hear a word that reminds you of him, smell a familiar smell, hear his voice on your cell phone, make a quilt out of his favorite shirts to wrap around you. You will ask, if Andy was here, what would he tell me-you will hear him answer in your head. He will always be with you-never doubt this. I Donna & I grew up since elementary school, Andy with my brother. May the Peace of the Lord be with you Always!. Sarah Nelson Kramer.

Dear Mrs Phillips and Grace and Colin and the two boys I did not meet and the entire extended family. I was an ICU doctor that cared for Andy. I knew Andy on a physiologic basis but I didn't really know him. I knew his lungs, his heart and liver and kidneys, but I didn't really know Andy. I met his wife and two children, we FaceTimed , we spoke, we shared. I and our team tried, we looked for a solution but we failed. You brought Andy to us with hope in your heart and confidence in your spirit. You showered us with accolades, but alas we did not achieve, we did not overcome. For that, I am sorry. I am sorry I didn't get the opportunity to know Andy in a way a person meets another. I was looking forward to sharing a meal, a conversation, sharing stories of our children. Nonetheless I met the family and you cannt fake kids. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and to have raised such a wonderful family is a testament to who Andy and Trish truly are. The experience taught me much; the importance of family in healing, the strength that hope offers and the resilience that cannot be defeated by a novel virus. You see, I tried to help Andy, but in reality he helped me much more than I helped him. And Andy's legacy in my heart lives in his wife and children. He is not lost, and if I ever see them again and am blessed w their presence, I will be with Andy. I'm not sure what happens after death but I'm pretty sure something happens. When it's my turn to cross the line, I hope I find Andy waiting, extending a hand to me, welcoming and caring as he has certainly done to others so many times before. I will offer I am sorry I could not heal you, and thank you for healing me.

I never met the Phillips family but through a childhood friend , Tom Rosser , that shared his story and requesting prayers . As an RN I knew somewhat what this battle he was fighting. I shared with my bible study. Group, my very large family across the country . My youngest also a devout father of four sent chills thinking that could be us . We prayed reverently daily and wish God's plan was different but know you will always be in our hearts and prayers RIP
