Andrew Cornelious, Sr. peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 4:15 a.m. at Meadowbrook Rehab in LaGrange, IL. He told his family I'm going to keep fighting and they would say we're going to keep fighting with you.
Andrew leaves to cherish, his devoted wife Shirley Cornelious, three loving children, Sharon (Russell) Donald, Marilyn (Leon) Brewer Jr., Andrew (Tequila) Cornelious Jr; three sisters Jane Hutcherson, Linda Cornelious Lewis, Michelle Cornelious, bonus sister Walter Pearl (James) Bradley; one brother Andre Brown; bonus brother Leonard (Katherine) Martin, four sisters-in-law, Gloria Palmer, LuVern Middleton, Janet Chandler, Kim (Ignacio) Seguro; two brothers-in-law Clemmie Chandler, Ronald Brown Sr.; nine grandchildren, Gabriel (Laquita) Porter, Adrian (Shermaine) Woolfork, Michael Porter, Jameel Porter, Matthew Donald, Joshua Donald, Robert Donald, Andee Cornelious, and Nicholas Cornelious; two bonus grandsons, Roderick Morrow and Anthony Morrow; fifteen great grandchildren, Jayden Porter, Zieara Weathersby, Kenneth Porter, Jayla Porter, Amiya Woolfork, Destiny Bagwell, Markell Porter, Xavier Porter, Isaiah Porter, Adrian Z.Woolfork, Farrah Woolfork, Chandler Porter, Nova Donald, Camille Porter, Amari Porter, and a host of other loving relatives and loyal friends.
A special thanks to Andrew's EMD co-workers who have supported him over the years. Many thanks to the staff at Meadowbrook Rehab in LaGrange, IL., for their generous care of Andrew.
Lying In-State Saturday, February 1st from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Second Baptist Church of Maywood. 436 South 13th Avenue, Maywood, IL 60153. Interment Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside.
