Obituary of Andrew F. Domino, Jr.

Andrew F. Domino, Jr. passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 87.

Andy was born on September 29, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Andrew and Helen Domino and grew up in the Roxborough section of the city.

After graduating from Roman Catholic High School, he went on to serve in the United States Navy as a dental technician on submarines. For the next 42 years, he made his career as a Philadelphia Fire Fighter and earned a degree in Fire Science. During those years, he was stationed at Engine #12, #16, #35, #39 and #66. He was so passionate about being a fireman and often reflected on how much he truly loved his job by sharing stories with his family and friends. His stories, wisdom and optimism brightened the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Gloria (DiTanno) Domino, brother Michael, sister-in-law Nancy, and brother-in-law Ted. He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Ragghianti and brother Butch.

He was the proud father of his children: Drew (Sue), Sally Duffy, Steven (Donna) and Gina Rieser (David). He loved his grandchildren: Kelly, Kristin (Michael), Darren (Amber), Daniel and Megan and adored his great grandson Dawson.

Visitation will take place in church on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10 A.M., followed by his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11 A.M. at Saint Paul Church, 2007 New Hope Street, East Norriton, PA 19401. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at: Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to Saint Paul Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the choir.

Drew, Sue and the Domino family,
We were so very sad to hear of the passing of your dad Drew. I´m thankful that you got to spend some quality time with him over the last several months. I´m even more thankful that Andy knew the Lord Jesus as his personal savior and is in heaven right now waiting for all of us who know Christ Jesus! Take heart my friend. We love you all.
