Andrew Esposito Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home - Allen on Oct. 17, 2024.
Andrew Esposito of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on June 12, 1963, in Manhattan, New York, to loving parents Albert Esposito and Josephine (Montalbano) Esposito, Andrew grew up in a close-knit family that shaped his values of love, faith, and devotion.
On July 23, 1988, Andrew married the love of his life, Margaret M. McKay, in Port Chester, New York. Their marriage of 36 years was a testament to deep companionship, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their two children, Daniel and Katie, who were the pride and joy of Andrew's life.
Andrew dedicated his entire career to JCPenney, where his hard work and commitment left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He was also a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where he found community and comfort in his faith. Andrew was truly passionate about life. He loved playing golf, eagerly anticipated each New York Yankees game, and treasured moments spent with family and friends. Although he spent the last 28 years living in Texas, Andrew remained loyal to his New York roots - routinely reading New York newspapers, cheering on the New York Jets, and always favoring Italian cuisine over Tex-Mex.
Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Maggie Esposito; his son, Daniel Esposito and wife Amanda; his daughter, Katie Pownell and husband Preston; and his five adoring grandchildren, Everly, Aubrey, Easton, Hallie, and Peter. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine Esposito; his sister, Marianne Skelly; and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Andrew's sense of humor, infectious laugh, and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In this time of sorrow, the family invites you to celebrate Andrew's life, remembering the joy he brought to those around him.
A memorial mass will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 N Greenville Ave, Allen, Texas 75002.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening, October 20, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
