Andrew F. Hedden

Andrew F. Hedden, age 63, of Wilmington, DE passed away on July 26th, 2024. Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Leona (Ward) and John J. Hedden, Jr. Andrew graduated from Wilmington High School and worked as an electrician for Matthew Hedden and Sons Electric. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a general outdoorsman. He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time and was a "jack-of-all-trades" kind of man. In addition to his parents, Andrew was predeceased by his three brothers, and his beloved dog, Onyx "Spud".
Andrew is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Bella M. Valenti-Hedden; his children, Andrew Hedden and Ashley Hedden; his dog, August Rose; and was one of three remaining Hedden siblings.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 7th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. with a brief funeral service beginning at 1 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be held privately.
