My father, Wilmer Benzel, always had the highest regard for Andy. He thought he was the best Mason around. Now they will be telling each other jokes in heaven. My sympathy to the family for your loss.

Andy was a wonderful uncle to me. He gave me my first job. I remember when my Dad and I were painting our house, he came and helped us. In particular, he would climb up to the peak of the house where no one else would venture. That was the type of special person he was. Loved you uncle Andy. You were always special to me.

My sympathies for the loss of "Andy" I hope you don't mind a story about him. In the early '60's, my dad had Andy pour a garage floor. I was big, probably 24X32. I recently had the opportunity to visit my childhood home and went into that same garage. I looked at the floor and was shocked! Just one little hair-line crack, in over 50 years. That is unheard of. I thought about "Andy" on that day. I always remembered his name because I'm also an "Andy"! He was the best mason.

I remember Andy from his time at Froehlich Construction in St Cloud, WI. It was my first real job. He was always outgoing & friendly.
