Andrew Donald Nonahal passed away on January 24, 2026. He was 34 years old.
Born on November 24, 1991, in
Detroit, Michigan, Andrew was raised in a loving family in West Bloomfield. He attended University of Detroit Jesuit High School before graduating with the Class of 2010 from West Bloomfield High School. His childhood was filled with love, laughter, adventure, and a passion for club soccer, which he proudly shared with his father.
Andrew loved travel and culture, spending summers in Florence, Italy, his father's hometown and where his parents met. He cherished trips to California with extended family and celebrating Persian traditions. Andrew fulfilled his dream of working alongside his father in the last months of his life.
Above all else, Andrew cherished time with his family. He had a deep capacity to fully love his mom, dad, and sisters, leaving a lasting impact through the way he gave himself completely to those he loved. He was a devoted boyfriend to Tori and a dedicated father to his son, Blayne, whom he unconditionally loved with his whole heart and who was the light of his life.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Franco and Kristen Nonahal; his beloved son, Blayne Nonahal; sisters, Arianna and Alyssa Nonahal; grandfather, Donald Walker; grandmother, Dokhi Nonahal; uncles, Donny Walker and Iman Nonahal; aunt, Navid Nonahal; cousins, Donya and Delbar Nonahal; girlfriend, Tori Korthals.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 31st, with visitation 2pm until funeral service at 5pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers, & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave (btw 13-14 Mile), Royal Oak, 248-549-0500.
Andrew's kind heart and unwavering devotion to his family and son will always be remembered. He will be missed beyond words and loved forever in our hearts.
