Amy Louise Edie

November 11, 1963 - July 28, 2025

Amy Edie, resident of Walled Lake, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 61. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan.

Amy was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ann Edie. She grew up in West Bloomfield, where she graduated from West Bloomfield High School. Amy made lasting friendships while there; some friendships lasting for over forty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert "Pete" Edie. Amy is survived by her brother William (Karen) Edie; nephews Russell (Corey) Edie, Marc (Heather) Edie, Kevin (fiancé Mara Tharp) Edie; sister-in-law Jean Edie; and several great-nephews and nieces.

Although Amy never married and had children, she loved her nephews and great-nephews and nieces. A lot of people called Amy Aunt, including the children of some very dear friends.

Amy worked at Corewell Health in Farmington Hills for over thirty years as an office assistant.

Amy will be greatly missed.

Burial will take place at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia, MI. A celebration of life will be held at a future time.

I miss my friend! Amy was positive and zany. She was tender-hearted and sentimental. She always remembered birthdays and the lyrics to almost every song she ever heard. My very deepest sympathy to her family. My family has endless happy memories. Rip.
