Andrew Oreste Obituary
In loving memory of Andrew H. Oreste, 83, who peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy), who were married for 62 years. They have 3 daughters, Theresa Silver (Robert Silver), Debra Bowling (Jerry Bowling) and Michele Claxton (William Claxton). They have 10 Grandchildren, Andrew Silver (Caitlin Taylor), Brittany Russo (Andrew), Michael Burns (Kathryn), Ryan Burns (Casey), Blake Caraballo (Peter), Jerry Bowling (Paula Barbera), Luke Bowling (Gabriela), Emma Bowling, William Claxton and Daniel Claxton. They also have 3 Great Grandchildren, Quinn Burns, Andrew and Ann Russo. The thing he loved most was his family and he was blessed to be able to spend time with all of them before he passed. He enjoyed his hobbies, especially his koi pond and his little dog, Zoey. One of his greatest joys was cars, only Fords. He proudly owned a 2004 Red Ford Lightning that only came out of the garage on sunny days. He was so loved and will be missed.
In Lieu of Flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Andrew's memory to the Hope House Ministries in Port Jefferson .
