Andrew Pantoya was born on February 5, 1961, in Fresno, California, to Frank and Carmen Pantoya.

Andrew shared 26 wonderful years with his wife and partner, Stephanie Lindquist, and together they raised their beloved son. He devoted his life to his family, his faith, and his friends. Andrew faced a 24-year battle with cancer with courage and determination.

Nothing could come between Andrew and his family-not even cancer. He prayed for the strength to see his son grow up, to watch him go off to school, to cheer for him on the baseball field, and to proudly see him graduate. Time and again, Andrew defied the odds and the disbelief of doctors, choosing love and perseverance over despair.

Baseball coaching marked a new era in Andrew's life, as he touched the lives of countless children, coaching them to grow into the outstanding young adults they are today-all while cherishing every moment with his family and his all-star son.

We will remember Andrew for his encyclopedic knowledge of sports, his kindness, his infectious laugh, and his refusal to give up.

Andrew leaves behind his loving partner, Stephanie, and their son of 24 years, Drew Pantoya; his mother, Carmen Pantoya; along with many devoted siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Sadly, Andrew will not be with us to see the wonderful legacy he leaves behind, but we find comfort in knowing his spirit lives on through the stories and memories we share.
