Andrew Vance Renshaw (Andy) passed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 67. Beloved son of the late William M. and Loretto (nee Jarcynski) Renshaw.
Andy is survived by his loving sister Mary Donley (Jonathan) and many adoring nieces and nephews, Brian, Chris, Willie, Gus, Sarah, Nathan, and Megan. He was predeceased by his brothers, Stephen W. Renshaw, Roger L. Renshaw, and Daniel T. Renshaw.
Andy was a friendly, caring, funny, and gentle soul. He was an angel on earth. His disability never hindered his determination to succeed at anything he put his mind to. He loved being an uncle and doted over his nieces and nephews any chance he could. He never failed to remember his niece’s and nephew’s birthdays and for them he chose unique presents and witty birthday cards that he felt were most fitting to the receiver. Andy was an organized individual in many aspects of his life. In the working field Andy had clerical positions for most of his work life.
His interests included travel and sports. He enjoyed trips to London, California and New York. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching college football, basketball and hockey, but most especially loved the Philadelphia Phillies.
Family and friends are invited to Andy’s visitation on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
