Andrew Ruffner Obituary

Andrew S. Ruffner

Andrew Andy S. Ruffner, age 62 of North Kingstown, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Born in Long Island, NY, he was a son of the late Jack W. and Betty Jane A. (Ferris) Ruffner.

Andy was a graduate of North Kingstown High School. He later worked as a diesel mechanic for Cox Communications. Andy was an avid hunter and fisher-

man. He enjoyed helping those around him no matter the position he was in, and his friends and family lovingly called him 'Butch'. Andy was a devoted fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and NASCAR.

He was the loving father of Mikayla A. Ruffner; grandfather of Savannah N. Ruffner; and brother of Diana Cardi, Christopher Ruffner, Thomas Ruffner, and Kevin Ruffner. Andy is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 12 - 2 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown. A celebration of Andys life will follow at 54 Camp Ave., North Kingstown.
