Andrew C. Spadafino

Andrew C. Spadafino, lovingly known as Andy, peacefully gained his heavenly wings on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the age of 78. He was born on May 5, 1945 in his beloved Bronx, NY to Joseph and Grace M. (Spano) Spadafino.
Andy served honorably for four years in the United States Navy during the 1960's. He loved being with people and conversing with those he met, with a gift for making them feel special. That personality trait, along with his passion for great food, service, and entertainment in a warm and inviting setting, greatly defined him, first as the owner of several Daddy's Deli's, and later, a number of restaurants that he opened in Westchester County. His first establishment was the Overlook Inn adjacent to the Kensico Dam; Sweetwaters in North White Plains; and lastly, Spadafino's Ristorante in Valhalla.
Andy is survived by his children, Frank Spadafino (Amy); MaryAnn DeGeorges (Vincent), both of Armonk, NY; his five grandchildren, Jonathan, Peter and Mia Spadafino and Katie and Elizabeth DeGeorges; his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Ken Bove of Mahopac, NY; and his many loving nieces and nephews and friends who were family to him. He was predeceased by baby Ann Marie; his parents; brother, Joseph of Mahopac; and his sister, Ann Reda of Cumming GA.
Private cremation services were held earlier. A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel of St. John the Evangelist Church, 225 E. Lake Blvd. in Mahopac, NY.
