Andrew was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a loyal member at Coal Mountain Baptist Church. Andrew was known as “Andy the tool man” across Forsyth County and surrounding areas. He was a lover of Ford pickup trucks, westerns, coffee, his family and most importantly he loved The Lord. Andrew is proceeded in death by his mother and father Andrew and Olive Thompson and his brother Curtis Thompson.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Faye Thompson, daughter Barbie Echols, son and daughter in-law Keith and Lisa Kilby. Grandsons Trent and Wes Jones. Granddaughters Nicole Pugh (Randy), Brittany Cox (Cody) and Mikayla Waters (Trevor). Great Grandchildren Carson Floyd, Eli Kilby, Georgia Pugh, Cooper Kilby and Hartley Cox.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, March 02, 2025, at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Martin & Rev. Jonathan Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
