Funeral services for Andrew Charles Wells, age 37, of Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00PM at Frary Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM up until the time of the service. Mr. Wells passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kerri Wells; their four children, Riley, Emberlynn, Andrew Jr., and Gabriel; his sisters, Christine LaLonde, and Danielle Wells; his parents, Richard and Jean Wells; his uncles and aunt, Loren (Sharon) Wells, Bob (Sue) Wells, William Thouin, and Linda George; his godfather, Dana Vinch; his close friends, Christopher Durham and his wife Trish, Tyler Alley, Wyatt Watkins, and Jimmy Conant and his wife Carrie, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Born on March 19, 1987, in Ogdensburg, Andrew was the son of Richard and Jean (Thouin) Wells. He married Kerri French on December 22, 2012. At the time of his passing, Andrew was employed by CHMC in Ogdensburg as a Security Guard, a role he took great pride in. Andrew had a passion for construction work, particularly roofing, and enjoyed working on solar projects. He took satisfaction in his career and in the work he did. In his spare time, Andrew loved motorcycles and had a special interest in assembling die-cast model cars with his children, which brought him great joy and allowed him to bond with them.
Andrew's vibrant spirit and strong work ethic will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A devoted family man, he found joy in the simple moments spent with loved ones, and his passion for cooking for a large group was a testament to his generous heart. Whether hosting a family gathering or feeding friends, Andrew's meals were always made with love, bringing warmth and comfort to all who gathered around his table. His legacy will live on in the memories of his family and friends, who will cherish the time they spent with him and the meals they shared together.
