In Loving Memory of Andrey Litvin
March 22, 1975 – February 18, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Andrey Litvin on February 18, 2025, at the age of 49. Andrey was a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring son, an attentive brother and a cherished friend.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Andrey was deeply influenced by his father Vladimir Litvin, a renowned nuclear physicist, who nurtured his early passion for science, mathematics, and physics.
After earning a college degree in physics from St. Petersburg State University, Andrey continued his academic journey in the United States, where he obtained a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Boston University. Andrey has since worked in General Electric and Analogic Corporation. His intelligence, curiosity, and dedication made him a valued professional and a trusted colleague.
Beyond his career, Andrey's greatest joy came from the simple pleasures of life. He was a man who valued time with family over anything else. A devoted husband to his wife, Daniela, and a proud father to his children, Alexander (Sasha) and Natasha, he spent countless hours making memories with them-biking, hiking, taking long walks in the neighborhood, and enjoying the outdoors. He also found joy in salsa dancing, drone flying, traveling and playing guitar for the family.
Andrey is a very handy person and can fix just about anything, from repairing cars to fixing things around the house. He approached every challenge with patience and expertise. He was the person that everyone could rely on-kind, trustworthy, and always willing to lend a hand. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A visitation to honor Andrey's life will be held on Sunday, March 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St.
Brookline, MA. 02445. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to support them during this difficult time. Contributions can be made by mailing a check to:
