Andy Benavides

Andy Benavides, age 70, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. He was born on February 27, 1955, in Robstown, Texas, to Argeo Sr. and Delores Benavides, and was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Andy married the love of his life, Angie, on July 15, 1977. He is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, whom he cherished deeply. Their love story continues eternally in God's promise of everlasting life.

Andy was known for his humor and strong work ethic. He enjoyed music, fishing, hunting, Elvis, and barbecuing, but his greatest joy was time spent with those he loved most.

He is survived by his children, Audrey and Andrew Benavides Jr. (Jocelin); his cherished grandchildren, Andrew Benavides III, Aubriella Benavides, Brock, and Brylee; and his siblings, Argeo Jr. "PeeWee" Benavides, Arnold Benavides (Sandy), and Alma Myers (Ray), along with many extended family members and dear friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his niece, Victoria Narvaez, for caring for Andy during the last several months.
