Andy Kissel, age 60, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born March 10, 1964 in Wauseon, OH to Larry Kissel and Barb Allen.
Andy is preceded in death by his son, Wyatt Kissel; his father, Larry Kissel; and his father-in-law, Dan St. Clair.
He is survived by his mother, Barb Allen (Brad Miller); step-mother, BJ Kissel; mother-in-law, Evi St. Clair; brother, Jim (Staci) Kissel and sister, Becky (Kelly) King.
He is also survived by his wife, Teri Kissel; children Becky (Chris) Phillips, Danielle Kissel, and Drew (Stacie) Kissel. His grandchildren, Katelyn, Deacon, Izack, Kyley, Serenity and Bruce. As well as his many nieces and nephews.
Andy worked as a Boilermaker for 20+ years and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a talented artist and enjoyed taking risks such as skateboarding in his fifties and bull riding in his forties. He especially enjoyed the time he spent working in Alaska.
Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville on Saturday, November 23 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm with his funeral service at 5:00. The family kindly requests that you wear your favorite flannel shirt in memory of Andy.
Memorial contributions can be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Memories of Andy and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.ScottFuneralHome.com.
