ANETA CITRO

1971 - 2026

Aneta Citro, 54, of Wellsboro, passed away early January 24, 2026, in her home surrounded by family. She was born August 11, 1971, in Lodz, Poland, to Janush and Bozena (Rajkowski) Pawlukiewicz. She graduated from high school, and on July 10, 1993, she married Gary Citro, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.
Aneta was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Wellsboro. She enjoyed board games and baking, shopping, being outdoors and taking long drives in the country to see nature and animals. She volunteered at the Second Chance Animal Shelter and loved her dog Nova and her cat Nebula. But most of all she enjoyed raising her children.
She is survived by her husband: Gary Citro of Wellsboro, a son: Ryan Citro of Wellsboro, a daughter: Susan Citro of Wellsboro, and her mother: Bozena Pawlukiewicz of Wellsboro. She was preceded in death by her father.
In accordance with her wishes, a private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Her arrangements have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
