Angel Marie Quinn

Angel Marie Quinn, a cherished soul whose life was filled with creativity, and adventure, passed away on October 20, 2025, in her hometown of Gaylord, Michigan. Born on March 30, 1982, to the late James Charles Quinn and the late Theresa Ann Greka.
She was the mother to Destiny and August, and grandmother to Javius, whose presence brought her immeasurable happiness. Angel's familial bonds were further enriched by the special connection she shared with her aunt and uncle, Connie (Kenneth) Sytek, and the cherished memories of her late Granny Aleta.
Angel attended Gaylord Schools and later found a career that would reflect her compassionate nature. Her work in home healthcare allowed her to touch the lives of many, providing care and comfort to mentally and physically impaired individuals, as well as seniors. Later, as a cashier at Blarney Castle EZ Mart, she found a second family among her coworkers, enriching their lives with her infectious spirit.
A true "Free Spirit," Angel embraced the essence of a hippie chick with an affinity for crystals, dream catchers, and crafting intricate resin figurines. Her soul was most at peace when immersed in nature, whether she was combing the beach for Petoskey stones, fishing on tranquil waters, mushroom hunting, or plucking Tiger Lilies from the earth.
Angel's creative passions extended to the art of makeup, a skill she shared with her daughter and practiced on herself. This interest, which could easily have blossomed into a career, was a source of joy and self-expression for her. Angel's appreciation for life's simple pleasures was evident in her love for a good seafood dinner, a night out for Chinese cuisine, and the quiet companionship of her cat Slick, who provided solace after the loss of her beloved dog Ziggy.
Those who knew Angel will remember her as spirited, interesting, and adventurous. She approached life with an open heart and a willingness to explore, leaving behind a legacy of cherished moments and heartfelt connections.
