Angel Torres Obituary
Angel was a man of simple pleasures. He loved visiting the corner store and hanging out with Ponti and the guys every morning. This daily ritual was more than just a routine; it was his unique way of connecting with the community, sharing laughter, and showcasing his funny side. His love for his family was paramount; his children were his pride and joy. Angel's generosity was legendary; he was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his kids equally, showering them with immense love, a testament to his loving nature.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Iris Burgado Torres and his son, Angel Julio Torres, AKA (Papito), Angel Torres jr. AKA (Miguelito), Joanna Torres, Francisco Torres AKA (Pupi), Angel David Torres, aka (Pekita), Joel Angel Torres. 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 4 Sisters and 6 Brothers. who was predeceased by his mother, Carmen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Crispen Torres and Carmen Velez. The memory of Angel's loving nature, generous spirit, and dedicated soul will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. As we remember his life and mourn his passing, we find solace in the words of the scripture, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4).
The celebration of Angel's life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 3:00 pm EST at 3225 Westfield Avenue, Camden, New Jersey, 08105. We invite everyone who knew and loved Angel to join us in celebrating his life, sharing stories, and remembering the joy he brought into our lives. Please feel encouraged to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page to keep Angel's spirit alive.
