Angel V. Zuniga, 31, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
He was born in Racine on January 20, 1994, to Manuel and Odelia (Vera) Zuniga, the youngest of five children.
Angel was a loving father; devoted to his only son, Angel II, son, brother, partner and uncle. He was a very talented artist which drew him into tattooing but his passion was always in becoming a barber. He started cutting hair at his home in 2009, then went on to open up his own shop, Upper Cutz Studio in late 2018. Angel was a devoted Cowboys fan and loved working on his 64' Impala in his free time.
He is survived by his mother, Odelia Zuniga; his partner, Kourtney Jesmer; son, Angel Zuniga II; Siblings, Manuel Jr., Andrew (Andrea), Veronica and Jennifer; nieces and nephews, Manny, Marissa, Mario, Santy, Andrew, Brandi, Jayden, Jesse, Azzaraya, Cruzito, Jenisse, Sipriano, Anthony, Thomas and Valentino. He is further survived by other family and numerous friends.
Angel was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Zuniga Sr; grandparents, Cosme and Manuela Vera and Gabriella and Thomas Zuniga; nephew, Jesus Nava; and niece, Cateleya Nava.
Funeral service for Angel will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
