Angela Abner

Angela Sue Abner, age 65 of Anniston, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born October 14, 1960 in Cairo, IL, to the late Sarah Sue Abner Henderson, and is survived by John W. Henderson and Carolyn "Ninny" Henderson. Angela enjoyed life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She was a truck driver in the family business for many years.

Other survivors include four brothers, Darrell and Cheryl Abner, Jerry Henderson, Johnny and Shannon Henderson, and Brandon and Courtney Henderson; a special niece, Jerica Henderson; Bridgett and Little Man, who were "her children", and her special fur-friend, who was her loyal companion.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Henderson, who passed away February 6, 2026; her grandparents, Charles and Geneva Abner and John and Voltra Henderson; and one sister-in-law, Pam Henderson.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Dogwood Cemetery, with Bro. Randy Eskew, pastor of New Beginnings Church in East Prairie, officiating.

Interment will immediately follow.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Henderson, Brandon Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Nolen Henderson, Justin Henderson and Hank Abner.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
