Jimmy Patrick

Jimmy Carl Patrick, age 64, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at his home in East Prairie, MO. He was born June 11, 1961, in Sikeston, MO, to the late James Patrick and Betty Hedges Patrick, and worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He was employed at numerous businesses throughout the years and retired after working for the City of East Prairie. He also had been employed by Al Hill Construction, Bain Auto Sales, Oliver & Sons, and Hale Implement Co. Jimmy was of the Pentecostal faith and had served as a youth pastor at Full Gospel Church in East Prairie. He also was a member of a gospel group called "Forever His". He thoroughly enjoyed praise and worship music, which he still listened to during his final days on earth. He had a deep love for his wife Patricia and was devoted to his family.

On September 20, 1979, in East Prairie, he married Patricia Ross, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his sons, Brandon and wife Jayde Patrick of Kansas City, MO and Timothy and wife Crystal Patrick, also of Kansas City; one daughter, Amber and husband Chris Jordan of Sikeston, MO; his siblings, Barry and Bonita Patrick of East Prairie, John and Sheila Patrick of East Prairie, Debbie and Ricky Sipp of Bertrand, MO, Steve and Becky Patrick of Charleston, MO, and Marla and Nick Rayburn of East Prairie; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Jonah, Kylee, Braydon, Ian, Ameila, Fox, Reese, Landon, and Chevelle; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family who loved him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Henry and Myrtle Patrick, Marlon and Mary Hedges, and step grandmother, Dorothy Hedges; one sister, Susie Easley; one brother, Paul Patrick; one nephew, Ryan Easley; and one niece, Holli Jo Patrick.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, March 12, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel. Bro. Randy Eskew, pastor of New Beginnings Church in East Prairie will officiate.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Easley, Dusty Patrick, Bobby Martin, Phillip Mobley, Jonah Patrick, and Landon Richardson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brody Patrick, Josh Mobley, Chris Jordan, and Nick Rayburn.
