Angela Faye "Cromer" Benefield

Mrs. Angela Faye Benefield, of LaGrange, passed away on August 7, 2025. She was born in Meriwether County, Georgia, on July 20, 1949, to the late Douglas Cromer and Thelma Cromer.

She was a creative person who enjoyed oil painting and other arts and crafts. She most recently acquired a passion for raising her little ducks and chickens. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and hunting with her late husband Roger. She will be powerfully missed and forever treasured in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hue Benefield, and her great-grandchildren, Skye Cruse and Meredith Cruse. Mrs. Benefield is survived by her children, Angela Coleman (Chad), Sheila Burns (Scott), Mandi Benefield Hutchins (Paul), and Christi Benefield Jones (Bruce); her grandchildren, Angela Kaye Harper, Sadie Ford(Brandon), Steven Truett Brian Hutchins (Andrea), LeslieAnn Cruse (Alex), Indiana Jones, Montana Jones, and Arizona Jones; her great-grandchildren, Mason Cruse, Rose Cruse, Charlie Cruse, Emily Hutchins, and Madeline Hutchins and of course her beloved dogs, Ella Mae and Little Bit.

The funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Pastor Donnie Benefield will officiate the service.
