Angela Patricia Fay

Angela Patricia Fay 'Angie', a true beacon of love, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2025.
She was born to proud parents Theodore and Nicholena (Lumia) Fernez on September 26, 1946, in the Bronx, NY, where she cultivated a life rich in affection and warm-hearted memories.
In New Rochelle, on a crisp autumn day, November 19, 1967, Angela married the love of her life, Steven Fay, embarking on an incredible journey that flourished over 57 years. Their love blossomed into a beautiful family, with four wonderful daughters who continued to fill their lives with joy and purpose.
A graduate of the prestigious Maria Regina High School, Angela later lent her talents as an Administrative Assistant at IBM in Armonk, NY, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to her colleagues and her work. Despite her professional achievements, her creative flair and sweet tooth found expression in her delightful baking, much to the pleasure of those who knew her well. Yet, nothing could rival the delight of a simple bowl of chocolate ice cream, a treat she cherished above all.
Angela and Steven purchased their first home in Ossining, NY where they met wonderful neighbors, made lifelong friends, and raised their young family. Angela was an accomplished piano player and sang in the church choir. They later settled in Mahopac, NY. She taught pre-school at Tuskers Peanuts in Somers.
Angela's true fulfillment was found within the walls of her home, among her family, as she found joy in most things' life had to offer, but with no exception her family and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. You could often find her baking, singing, and dancing with her grandchildren or doing arts and crafts with them.
Angela's enduring love and memory will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, Steven Fay, their loving children, Patricia Fay and her husband Sanjay Khanna, Christine Crawford and her husband Christopher, Kathleen Gordon and her husband Gregory, and Elizabeth Fay and her companion Robert Langley, as well as her five adoring grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Ryan, Lauren and Sean. Angela also leaves behind her dear brother, Alphonse Fernez and his wife Martha, and her brother John Fernez. Sadly, Angela was predeceased by her sister-in-law Virginia Fernez.
Angela will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her legacy-a loving family, inspired creativity, and the sweet taste of joy-continues with each generation. Her passing is not an end, but a reminder of the beauty and tenderness she shared with all who had the honor of being a part of her life.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Cargain Funeral Home, Inc., 418 Route 6 (GPS US-6), Mahopac, NY 10541. A Prayer Service and blessing will begin at 5:30pm during the visitation to celebrate Angela Patricia's life.
A private cremation will take place the following day.
